Having to watch a US stream, cause you van’t legally watch this game in the UK for some fucking reason. Two thoughts:

I am always amazed at how bad American adverts are. When I was in Chicago in September we counted 7 legal/drug advertisements in one half time break.

Secondly, the guy who isn’t Tim Howard appears completely clueless. “Martinelli is in an offside position but he’s behind the ball” There’s a term for that. Onside.

I get both arguments, but at this moment I’d rather have CL next year. We need to improve the team this summer and I think it’d be much harder to do if we finish 5th. It’s also way less likely Conte or Kane stay if we finish 5th, although I suppose it’s possible they’d want to stay if we won a cup.

 

But we won’t get either playing like we are tonight. Look like absolute shit.

Yeah, I get this to be fair. When you know that you probably have a new manager and a fair bit of work in the transfer market to do, maybe CL is crucial to getting your targets.
