Giving Mayor Of Kingstown another shot. I've watched everything else in the Paramount Sheridanverse no matter how bad it was so I might as well push through this too.

 

Mayor of Kingstown is dumb but fun.

 

Dumb but fun pretty much describes every Sheridan tv show. When I first tried to watch this it just felt kind of dull compared to his others.

 

it definitely picks up after a few episodes.

 

I like that Kingstown takes place in a universe where everyone incarcerated in a state prison is from and has family in the same shitty little prison town that the prison is located in lol. Yeah it doesn't work like that.

 

I just got the first two seasons of izombie on DVD for relatively cheap. Apparently the fourth and fifth never had physical releases. I vaguely remember not liking the fourth as much, I don't even know if I watched the fifth

 

anyone else seen sharper? i thought it was alright. arguably not the best showcase for justice smith if he was looking to prove he's ready for primetime

 

I legit just heard of it today. I’ll probably watch it this week.

 

Just watched Mr Corman and honestly really enjoyed it. I get why it didn’t get super great reviews but I really appreciated how authentic it all felt. Little vignette of the stressors of an anxious man’s life and the existential dread we all face.

A Kiefer Sutherland conspiracy thriller series? I am automatically in no questions asked

 

On my first watch and that’s actually the only episode that has seemed aged.

Of course many of the conflicts could be avoided with cell phones but you have to draw a line somewhere in suspending disbelief

It’s amazing how well that show has aged. Especially compared to some more recent sitcoms that have aged so so poorly.
