    If I was a betting man I would put some money on a United cup treble (the rarest and coolest treble you can get). Newcastle are very much beatable in the League Cup final, if they can see off Barcelona in this round then that's the hardest team they'd face gone, and the FA Cup only has City left as a "heavyweight" to challenge them.

    Really feels like Rashford has every defence he faces on strings atm, and Bruno seems to be getting back to his best after a strange 18 months for him, plus the defence with Licha and Varane is better than its been in about 10 years too. I know it is a long way to go in the EL and FA Cup, but I would feel quietly confident going into every game if I was an MUFC fan.

    Edit: total fluke goal Barca, fuck!

    They are such an interesting team to me. They play a style of football that is unlike most of the Bundesliga teams and kind of sets up really well for Europe in the process.

    It's really baffling how the defense changes entirely.

  6. Was that not a handball?

    Literally the Barcelona memoir of this season in Europe.

    It was a handball, but Barca should be down to 10 swings and roundabouts.

    It's not quite Batistuta but it's a great goal for Fiorentina in a European game! It's just like the old days...

    Did they get rid of away goals or is my mind making that up?

    @fangclubb Prestigious

    Yeah, no away goals anymore.

    Good result in the end. Little annoying we couldn’t see it out but god damn we’re so much better than last year.

    Gavi suspended and Pedri potentially out injured; the home match should be a cake walk for y'all.

    I am pretty sure VAR can intervene for any red card offence, including DOGSO.

    Weird. I heard yesterday that VAR couldn’t interfere because it was outside the box.

    It’s not my team but this is from the club based beside my house. This is cool.

    It’s very clear he’s not staying. Don’t know why we’re delaying it.

    So I’m relatively new to the sport but I understand conte has a revered manager but he/the media around him make him an exhausting circus

    Conte is a win now manager that’s unapologetically win now. When he feels he’s not getting backed to be that win now manager there’s always fireworks. It’s still strange to me that Spurs went for him and he went to Spurs when that was clearly a project team at the time. I’m also surprised he’s lasted this long, he must be in line for a good payoff because I absolutely would have expected him to walk at this stage
