Poor Tomiyasu. Idiotic backpass that led to the first goal, second goal tries for the block and by getting his boot to it causes a bounce that prevents the keeper from saving it.

 

It had to have happened after the game against Southampton because he has been a run of form since then. Probably our best player not named Haaland in some of those games during that run.

Xhaka has really short changed Martinelli this game. He’s missed two great runs into goal by Martinelli in first half and now just missed another chance to continue that attack by passing him wide.

 

City have been better since moving Ake to LB.

 

This match has come at such a bad time for us. No Jesus, no Partey, no esr. Zinny, Xhaka, Martinelli all struggling for form.
