Same lol. That’d actually be a legitimately fun tour

Is it true Tegan and Sara is one of the openers on the Weezer tour?

I just got this ad on instagram, and I’m very confused. Some of these shows are... not a thing lol

I’d believe it if it didn’t specify Jan-Mar and it wasn’t already February 13th haha

Weezer needs strong support or co-headliner if they are doing amphitheaters

Incubus/Weezer coheadline tour would rock my 90s/early 00s heart

No clue on artist, but it's coming to the arena here that holds 8,000-9,000 so it has to be someone relatively big.

Was it Breaking Benjamin and Bush that just got announced?

  15. I saw The Chicks last summer and they put on a great show. The most punk rock country group there is.

That tour would actually make sense. No offense to Wiz Khalifa but not sure he adds that much to ticket sales these days.

"In the face of so much criticism, The Dixie Chicks chose to stand behind what they said. When the Country Music world decided to shun them for it, The Dixie Chicks released the biggest and most anthemic Fuck You’s that I’ve ever heard. It’s an incredible and inspiring story of how three women who rose to fame in the heart of Country Music chose to not back down to their own community. The Dixie Chicks are Punk FUCKING Rock, and it’s about damn time they get the credit they deserve."

  19. In the early 2000s our family lived in a town of 6000 people in rural MS, transplants from DC (although my dad was born in MS). Pretty sure my parents were two of like ten people in the town who didn’t vote for Bush and thought it was fucked we were killing brown skinned people half a world a way to get oil. The whole Chicks “scandal” was a Big Deal and people made a show of smashing their CDs and stuff. But for me it was so cool to know that there were at least 3 other people out there from the south who also thought Bush sucked haha

  20. Anyway I’d love to see them live. One of my wife’s all time faves too

It's really wild to think people got that uppity about those comments as recent as 2003-04. Funny enough, I think even Green Day and Pearl Jam pissed off fans around that time with their anti-Bush rhetoric.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

The Chicks show in Toronto is the same night as Death Grips

what a double night that would be if it were manageable

Still can’t believe they got Zach Bryan.

  25. By the time American Idiot came out and I started to get into that kind of music we had moved to a less isolated spot but still in the south. I definitely had friends who were like “well their music is cool but I don’t like that they’re liberals” which is weird considering we were fucking middle schoolers ha. The indoctrination runs deep
