Oh I was hoping this was the start of a new album cycle lol

 

This band consistently has really engaging full length albums and totally forgettable singles, for me at least. I guess part of it is that most of them are meathead WWE songs.

 

I totally agree with you. This one is so much better than "Out For Blood" but I don't think I'm gonna go back to it. I also didn't like the first single from the last record and ended up loving the album as a whole, so who knows.

 

I like Out for Blood way more than this

 

First single works so much as a culmination closer for the album than a standalone single.

 

It’s catchy

 

Song is fine and exactly what it should be. I still really love Out for Blood. Hopefully we get a new album sooner than later.

 

I'd argue that's kind of why it works as a standalone single too, the title track encapsulates everything that album does into one song so they probably thought it was good to show off. It's such a good closer for the album.

 

I liked it as a single, and I do think it works even better as a closer, but I don't really think it captures some of the all out heavy and chaos a lot of the album does. Releasing it and THEN Swallowing the Rabbit Hole was a perfect two song showcase of what the album had in store, IMO.

I was listening to Underneath last week for the first time in ages and the first half of that album especially is still as exciting to me as it was at the time. I'd forgotten how good it was.

 

As long as it sounds absolutely nothing like the last two songs I’m all for it

 

I’m here for either the farty buttrock or the metallic hardcore either way

 

Plz make fast and heavy stuff again, k thanks
