Yeah those locations you listed are nutso for housing whether renting or purchasing. There is some eastside spots that are cheaper but you give up some "amenities" and school district quality (if kids are or will be a factor). I am super partial to Ypsi but I get its not everyone's cup of tea and has some warts that is very dependent on location within the city. That said, its still the hipster, funkier version of Ann Arbor and has some similarities to what Ann Arbor used to be.

Yeah seeing Nate Bargatze at the State Theater and will do.

This is such a good insight into him and his career, as well as the pressure and difficult choices when you get so well known at 15.

I did this and it was mighty. Unfortunately, I picked a load of shit for the other 10 positions.

Did the same, although I don't think a single other player produced a goal, assist or clean sheet, so he carried the water with 60 of 80 points.

The universe needs a new rule that says if you have supreme capabilities in a sport you cannot be good-looking in any traditional sense of the word.

I’m not a finance person whatsoever but I think there’s so much room for the EPL to grow in revenue. I wouldn’t be surprised if it eventually passes MLB at $10 billion/year and not because MLB somehow loses value, more so EPL increases. Can’t imagine anything touching NFL

NBC Sports has exclusive broadcast rights for EPL in the US, cost of $2.7 billion over 6 years. Tbh feels like a bargain, I imagine next broadcast rights deal will be bananas

part of me wanted ESPN to get the rights and just poach the pundits.

selfishly wanted another big league on that platform.

all the top leagues in one place would be a dream come true, which means it'll never happen because good things never happen

I think the time period for the matches airing will always suppress the otherwise high potential for North American EPL TV contracts. No doubt the sport will continue to grow, just as F1 probably hasn't peaked yet either, but it's hard to really beat out the value of NFL, NBA, etc. when the content can air live in the middle of the night through lunchtime rather than prime time.

I'm not sure about the laws but are there reasons the weekend matches cant be at 8 pm GMT?

West Ham look so bad. I know Moyes has done well with them up to this season, but surely they should be targeting someone like Poch or a more modern tactician to take the team forward.

Edit - of course they score now.

I have discovered how good Sports Horn is. Episode three is hilarious.

Top, top, top, top, top podcast. Don't get me wrong.

Cucurella has gone down like a lead balloon at Chelsea so far, hasn't he? His name got booed by the Chelsea fans when he was subbed off. I feel bad for him.

Was highly amusing telling some proper London geezers you aren't going to the football today because you're going to see Carly Rae Jepsen live.
