Rebecca Black’s debut album is fire. Hyperpop for fans of Charli XCX. Don’t judge her based on Friday.

This Is Why is really good. It’s definitely more shoegazie than anything they’ve done before. It’s as if they took After Laughter and both of Hayley’s albums and threw them in a blender. In fact, the back half of the record made me forget it was a Paramore release, I was in a trance and thought they were Hayley songs I hadn’t heard before. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. But I can see it rubbing people the wrong way. I’m happy for them because they look happier doing it than they ever have. That’s huge for a 20 year old band. I’ll always love Paramore.

for some funky synthy indie pop. All their albums have been buttery smooth and groovy. This is one of my most anticipated albums of this year and it’s been a super fun listen so far!

    D'oh! Prestigious

I clicked on it so fast this week and was a bit surprised hahh. But it's fun, hopefully they'll do have some new material soon though

The back end of Paramore's new album seems to be far different than the singles, give it a chance ;D

This Is Why was the only album I listened right away at night around 2AM. For tonight my headphones await new Andy Shauf for sure as I was too tired to listen to two albums in the middle of the night, but now I'm checking out everything during home office hours, Yo La Tengo, Ducks Ltd. Tennis to start off with a certain vibe ;u

If you haven't done so already, you should check out the debut WOLDS single, which is the new project from Paul Green (Devil Sold His Soul, The Arusha Accord).

It's a pop-rock/alt rock tune, so definitely VERY different to what he's known for, and all proceeds from streams and what not go to a mental health charity called Young Minds. Each new single will have its proceeds all donated to a different charity.

So, give it a spin, and even if you don't like it, that one listen will still have helped out a little.
