Let's get these people moving faster!

Is "lasting success" really achievable for any PL club? With the number of clubs willing to spend money, I don't think it'll be achievable for any club to maintain the length and consistency of success that Man U previously enjoyed, or even the run Man City went on (still not evening winning CL). Obviously Ten Haag has the potential to raise their level above what they've experienced post-Fergie, but it's a huge leap to then win a trophy every year or however that could be defined.

I think lasting success means consecutive years in the CL, winning trophies etc. not a decade long reign at the top. I assume they see a few consistent years in the CL/potentially challenging for the league and picking up a couple of trophies will make the club worth even more if they sell it in a few years

Surely one of the top has to be when Arsenal won the league at White Hart Lane in 2004.

We needed a draw to clinch the title and had been specifically asked not to incite the crowd if we did so. We were 2-0 up, when Spurs came back to draw 2-2 in injury time. A Spurs player shouted and taunted Henry about the comeback at the final whistle, so he lead the players on a victory parade at the stadium and celebrated even more vigorously than normal.

I don't exactly doubt that there's some wanting him back, but surely there's no way. United care about their brand, they will find a way to terminate his contract.

You can be sure his teammates will look at him differently now too, added to the fact they probably should aspire to a higher quality of attacker for football reasons, they should drop him to be some other club's problem

Chelsea are a bit crap still then.

I still remember the shitshow after the WC 2018. Özil claimed that all his critics were racists and while there definitely were some racist comments back then, the main reason for all the criticism was his photo with Erdogan right before the World Cup, which was a huge deal and a huge distraction going into the World Cup. And the fact that he did not apologise for it (unlike Gündogan for example) also played a big part.
That was the point his whole career went to shit. Which is a shame because he was an exceptional player in his prime.

Looks like either Onana or Doucoure in the "hole" in a 4-4-1-1. Let the hoofs begin!

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

Everton look like a team one bad tackle away from unraveling. But until that moment, they also look entirely different and are timing everything to perfection.

Kinda shitty the fans booed Saka who clearly got poked in the eye.

I mean, last year they booed Tomiyasu after a player stomped on his face. Football fans are idiots.

May all come apart but Dycheverton look decent so far. Making it horrible for the Arsenal players.

Good play from us, would have been a good goal, but well defended from Coady.

Take off Martinelli and bring on Trossard. We need someone who has that close quarter’s ability but can retain possession a little more. Gabi hasn’t been the same without Jesus.

"Dyche gets a goal from a player he knows inside and out."

    Disgusting.

Commentators still allergic to criticising Lampard.

'Everton showing the same ferocity they did towards the end of last season when Frank Lampard kept them up.'
