I’m gonna say it, Gordon is mid. Potential is there for sure, but he really hasn’t earned a move to either of those clubs.

  2. I've always thought the infatuation for him came out of nowhere. I just don't see it.

Decent young player with room to grow but is stagnating haaaard this season.

I may have said a few pages back, but I still haven't met a fellow Newcastle fan that wants him. Spend the exorbitant fee on a sure thing, not an underachieving young player who hasn't kicked on this season since his failed move to Chelsea.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

He’s young and it’s British tax. I’m not sold on him especially for the prices thrown around

I also don't think Americans have the mentality needed to put in the work that Bielsa would require.

I say this as not an American, but I hope you're not making a wild blanket statement like that about all American athletes, and instead just questioning their current squad.

I think you could be right, but what sort of mentality do you think they need?

Even more of a reason to hire him, no?

I also disagree with this for about 50-60% of the squad.

On the contrary, given the Danjuma stuff, I bet Everton would love to fleece Spurs. Someone is gonna get ripped off, so it might as well be Spurs

Bielsa and Dyche being the final two for the Everton job is poetic.

I guess I've always heard its difficult to train in a Bielsa team.

Oh it definitely is. But I think you could be surprised by how players respond to it. Especially for a national team where they're less likely to burn out from it in the same way his club sides all eventually seem to.

    Shit.

USMNT are in disarray. Earnie just left the post in addition to Brian McBride.

I imagine this is all fallout from the Reyna parents, too.

Has to be on Earnie Stewart. I imagine the investigation is not going to end well. Gio should make a move to France since no one stateside watches that league.

Davide Ancelotti? Seen it all with his father but is that enough?

  19. More fallout from the Reyna/Berhalter saga?

Been rejected. Man is going to Chelsea for £85m, I can feel it.
