Letting the Crimson Dawn storyline die is a slight against god

Actually in the comics right now they’ve been doing a big Crimson Dawn storyline that takes place between Empire and Return of the Jedi. For better or worse, it’s kind of consumed all the comics recently. If you’re interested, the main story series are War of the Bounty Hunters, then Crimson Reign, and it ends with Hidden Empire, which just dropped issue 2. Given the time period, there’s been very little about what happens immediately following Solo and no Maul, but there are some fun and unexpected characters who show up.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Solo is a goddamn mess of a movie that feels like three tv pilots slapped together, but it does have some legitimately great casting and some fun energy if you make your eyes glaze over the scripting decisions

I would definitely watch a continuation of the Maul/Qira arc but I'd also watch literally anything with Sam Witwer lol

I’m pointlessly arguing with TLJ haters on twitter again. I need help. It’s a waste of time. Their reasons are worse than ever.

Luke going into exile in a movie written in 2015/2016 makes no sense because he knew the Sith were active. How do we know this? Well I read a book in 2022 that said so. Books are canon. Therefore, in TLJ, Luke knew the Sith were back and went into exile. Unacceptable!

The biggest error in between TLJ and TROS is that Rian was originally contracted to write a story treatment for Episode IX but didn't*. If he'd done so then... well I imagine Abrams might still have ripped it up and started over but it would have been something.

*I can't remember why, possibly just the schedule of Disney wanting a new film every two years.

Are you sure you’re not mixing up Trevorrow with Johnson? Trevorrow wrote a script for IX but then Disney went with Abrams and rewrote the story from scratch

Geez the trilogy was messier than I thought. It's like the writers and Disney/Lucasfilm spent the whole time playing musical chairs.
