Okay I feel like I've used my adjustable weights enough to at least have an opinion. I got these ones: POWERBLOCK Sport 24 https://a.co/d/5BKMfJr

Reviews say they're the ones used by the Fitness Blender people but idk. I will say it definitely makes sense why the Fitness Blender ppl always have them on a lil table in their videos. I excercise in my bedroom which has carpet. By habit I tend to set them on the carpet between reps and then try change weights but I need to change my habit to setting them on a hard even surface because changing the weights on the carpet is nearly impossible for me. I keep putting the lil pins in the wrong spot. It takes practice and sometimes if I'm following a video where they change weights quickly i have to pause it but I imagine that will come with practice. I believe they had heavier options too but they're more expensive and I'm more toned than I am strong so it works for me so far. I do like them. They feel sturdy and while they make a lil bit of clattering noise sometimes it's not loud or bothersome. I don't ever feel like the weights will come loose or anything. Don't regret the purchase except wondering if I should've gotten a pair that went up to heavier sizes just to challenge myself and to have growing room, but that felt like a big money commitment. Still haven't gotten rid of my regular dumbbells yet just as I'm still learning to use these. Sometimes I get impatient if it's a fast paced video and just grab my regular ones to switch weights but I hope to change my set up to have a better surface to keep them on and then phase the regular ones out completely

OMG, I literally felt how it was… I got a stomach infection about two months ago. Thankfully, I had first aid meds at home. But before they gave any result, I spent the whole day in the toilet. So this was the exercise that gave the best result in my weight loss trip. It can be definitely added to this list. It's actually an effective method lol.

Not sure on cost, but I know Powerblock makes stands specific to their weights. An apartment building I lived in years ago had those as part of their free weights and had a branded stand for them.

They also make expansion sets, but they may only work for certain models of their dumbbells.

Gym has been absolutely packed to the gills still since new years. Walked in the other day and every single treadmill and piece of equipment was in use so I turned around and left immediately lol. Kaitie's been going in the morning and hasn't had any issue I just can't bring myself to get up in the morning. Instead, we've got an indoor bike trainer and a Zwift subscription so I've been biking for 40-60 minutes each night instead. I miss running and lifting but I am not dealing with a crowd

I've been trying to wake up at least once a work day out of the week in the morning to excercise in an effort to become a morning gym person. One week I even did it twice! Usually i just do a treadmill power walking workout cause im tired and if I wake up enough I'll do more. but it always feels good, I'm just not a morning person. This week has been rough cause due to hormonal issues I'm fatigued and exhausted. Managed to get up this morning and do it tho. But then I got back home and fell back asleep and was late to work smh lol. Never done that before. Morning life is hard.

I was doing cable rows today while standing and for some reason my neck made a cracking noise and has been in pain whenever I turn to the right. I’ve been icing and using a heat pad. Hopefully it doesn’t hurt too long because I’m going back to the gym on monday

Jesus Christ! I have absolutely no upper body strength lol I’m built like Gumby. I don’t think I’ve done 1,000 pushups in my LIFE let alone 10,000 in 30 days. I can run, that’s it lol nothing with muscles or weights for me

Were you doing push ups before starting this challenge or did you start them a little before starting day 1 or did you just jump right in? Are you doing some every day or taking any days off? Every day is 334 a day which is insane. I may not have even done 334 push-ups in my life lmao

Haha I tried to jump right in, did 6 days and was like nope. Restarted a week later. I completed it once like ten years ago (I could do 60 max in a set, right now 44 has been my max) 599 has been my best day this time around so far. I'm not SUPER confident at finishing it this time lol. I try to do two rest days a week

My squats and deadlifts just arent there being slightly lighter. My cardio is definitely much better though, which is nice.

Fitness is wonderful. I go to a coach who helps me cope with back pain (it turned out that I have practically no muscles in the lower back, and this provokes pain). We are slowly but surely strengthening my body and I really feel better. So far I can only do push-ups from my knees, but I'm sure soon I will be able to do push-ups in an usual way.
Most of all I love leg exercises - I feel like I really did a good job in training.
I don't really like cardio, cause I like sweets more, so I can run in the gym on a treadmill, I can ride a bike like Tomasso if the weather is good, or go to the swimming pool, which is great for my back.
Despite that I love sweets, I try to be in a calorie deficit and it works! My weight is in the upper limit of normal and I would like to weigh less

I have never really work out before, but I decided to start doing some things at home and I just finished a five minute workout (that I found on a website for teens with cancer of all places - I am not a teen nor do I have cancer)… I can’t believe how fucking dead I feel rn

Make sure you’re drinking enough water too. If I didn’t drink enough water and then workout then I’ll get a headache mid-workout
