I don’t know if Bielsa is someone I’d bring in mid season. Kind of feel like they need a firefighter.

I’d honestly get Dyche or Nuno in until the end of the season, then reassess. The problem is that I think Everton might view themselves as above that.

Hearing talk about Celtic's Ange Postecoglou to Everton but I just don't see him leaving a winning side mid-season. With CL football, his own signings and another league title on the way.

Then again, I didn't see that with Rodgers either....

    Would love him.

Currently our fans are up in arms over rumours of Big Sam returning lol. Hopefully it's Liverpool fans on the wind up.

I wouldn't haha. Ange is doing well here but his ethic seems to lean towards not leaving midseason. Big Sam would be a swing and a miss really but I think it will either go to Dyche or Bielsa. Alternatively, a short term solution until it can be reassessed at season end.

  5. Looks like Spurs have swooped in and signed Danjuma before Everton could finalize the deal.

Let's get these people moving faster!

I understand all that in theory, but exclusivity is the driver of all things sports revenue. Remove exclusive broadcast rights and the whole system crumbles. Which obviously would be in the consumer's interest, until every club goes belly-up because their budget was based on wild tv revenues. Completely agree though that the more leagues chop up their rights into different days and time slots to accommodate more broadcasters and contracts, the worse it gets for viewers, and that feels like short-sighted greed.

  7. Already had his medical with Everton too haha feels dirty but I'll take it. Seems like a good player to add some depth up front.

To be fair, Danjuma going to Everton in their situation, without even knowing who the manager would be, had me thinking less of him as a player. Not that Spurs have manager stability either - though he can be sure what league they'll be in next season.

Levy wants us relegated for Pickford on the cheap. Calculated.

    Documentary time. Now.

  13. And there’s more….

  14. I’m not sure if this helps, but Lucas is likely to leave now and Everton are the only team I’ve seen linked.

I don't think I know a single fellow Newcastle fan that's into the idea of buying Gordon. For whatever it'd cost to pry him from Everton, I'd rather buy an in-form player that's more a sure-thing.

Seeing emerging rumours that any player who played for Juventus and agreed to lie about lowering wages/cancelling contracts could get a UEFA ban of 30 days, regardless of who they play for.

I’m not sure I believe it, but that would be massive. That would affect so many more clubs than just Juventus, who would be fielding only new or youth players…

Good. Considering there's the whatsapp evidence showing the players were all in on it and knew it was illegal.

100% should happen, but I’d imagine it would be difficult, as teams like Bayern and Spurs would probably complain about it impacting them.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Yeah it would suck if we lost Kulu and Bentancur but if there’s clear evidence then yeah it should happen.

I don’t get how Paratici is still employed, it’s clear how big of a hand he had in it. Really should let him go.

  20. Spurs twitter has gone from “typical cheap move Levy” all the way to “he’s better than Trossard and Mudryk” in about an hour. Love to see it.

Gordon I can deal with leaving but I was looking forward to seeing Onana's development. I hope we have replacements lined up...

Bielsa > Dyche > Shit on a stick > Hasenhüttl. That's my preference out of the contenders so far. I think we're selling Gordon and Onana to help Bielsa get 4/5 of his own in.

I've not included Marcelino as that link allegedly came from Marca and I'll therefore discredit it.

  24. Contract is up in 6 months and he isn’t extending. I think his preference is joining PSG in the summer but Spurs should absolutely be all over this right now. Surely he can be convinced to reunite with Conte.

The plot thickens. I can't keep up.
