i was recently thinking about how he’s one of the best PL players with one of the best resumes in my time following the league the last 10 or 15 years

I think last year may have been his best year when you combine the league and European performances. Also funny when you look at this at how he definitely has a big year and then regresses a bit followed up by another big year. Going to need that not to happen this year from him.

 

Interesting to see City's transfer policy change over time. Getting on some of these younger promising South American players directly from their SA clubs seems like a wiser choice then waiting for someone liken Enzo Fernandez to blow up in price. I think with Brexit, the point system for visas changed a bit, allowing some of these SA players to be able to get visas versus other continents youth players. I think the Copa Libertadores gets you the same points as the Champions League now.
