For comedy reasons, I'm hoping for a Chelsea win today. Quite like Liverpool being a shambles.

 

I want an embarrassing draw. Like 6-6 or something with all players on the pitch being terrible somehow.

Oo yes, the Felix red card the other night was peak comedy. Mudryk to come on and instantly get sent off would be top quality.

Mudryk looks every bit as good as I thought. Lacking end product but can’t help but feel that will come.

 

I spend £300-400 per season going to games and watching Arsenal, and that’s assuming no big games like United tomorrow, which drive that up.

On top of that I pay for Sky Sports which even with an offer is £20 a month. For that I still end up not able to legally watch every match, it’s a piss take.

 

If you call the police on illegal streamers, can you be any more pathetic?

 

That comes down to about $177 a person. So stupid.

I almost posted that Athletic article earlier but didn't know how many people here are subscribed and could read it.

Totally gross article, reads like a propaganda piece from Sky. Absolutely one sided and offers no challenge to the media cartel that scrounges every penny from fans. Paints streaming as "lost revenue", which is a bad faith argument at best. No challenge to the fact that you can pay >£100 a month for every package and yet still not have access to all the games your team plays (even outside of the 3pm blackout).

I love The Athletic, but it's so disappointing reading that article from an organisation that prides itself on its quality journalism.
