What the hell was this game anyways? Only watched until the 35th minute before I had to go back to work

 

I don’t understand what this means.

 

I think he’s trying to say “The squad isn’t as good as I had at those clubs”, which is true, but also a lame excuse when he and his mate bought a large percentage of them in.

Also, if he means it as a dig at the clubs stature, then why even say it?

It’s a classic case of a manager who takes a job at a club below his normal level and then acts like he’s bigger than the club and too good for the job he took.

Naturally, I don’t like Spurs but no fans deserve that bullshit. At the very least they should feel like the manager cares and has respect for the club.

 

Feels like we're nearing the end game for Conte at Spurs now. I'd be surprised if he's still there come the end of February

 

I think this is going to be a much better window than spaffing all that money on Mudryk.

 

Meanwhile, Spurs are still getting rejected by other clubs because we won’t just pay the valuation of our targets.

Even if we end up getting Porro and Zaniolo, the window is still a failure because of how long it’s dragged out. Would’ve been nice to have those guys last night or for Arsenal.

Really good article on Pep's press conference from the post match yesterday. This one has been coming at least towards the players but guy went off on the fans (rightfully so there) and the club itself. I agree with a lot of his points and think you are going to see some players move on this summer. The missing of Zinny and Gabby to fire up the team when needed is an interesting point he makes as well.

Just compelling to see how he is dealing with being at a club so long and trying to reinvigorate the squad and environment.
