from what I gather ticket sales were better than it looked, still not great. But there were a lot of people who showed up late, or went for the early part and left. But it was def down from the previous years.

 

Do the Maine/Mayday no longer own SSF?

 

The Buffalo date on SSF last year did like 1,300 tickets in a 15k outdoor GA venue.

It was truly sad.

 

Also in more news of bands I didn't know were that big, Mt. Joy is playing TWO nights at Central Park Summerstage.

 

Maybe I'm off, but the numbers and scenarios people are putting out there are kind of in line with how I would have expected a tour like SSF to do. Maybe a little lower than what I would have expected (2-3k at most).

I kinda always just assumed they booked it in bigger venues just to be outdoors (and likely on off-days for said-venues).

 

I did that artpark date and remember being shocked at how much space there was, the pit area would’ve been a nightmare if it actually sold well though

 

Whatever the belasco in LA was teasing has been pushed back to tomorrow it seems

 

this better not just be something lame, i've spent too much energy checking the venue's IG this week haha

 

Pier 17 and the MANN use ticketmaster, but are not operated by Live Nation. If Live Nation is running this tour now they're gonna want to put it in thier venues when possible. Sucks for the bands too because I'm sure they'd rather play to a sold out crowd and get great photos at pier 17.

 

Honestly have no idea what it could be. All these quotes they're sharing and I can't seem to put it together to point to anything

ATL is trash but I really struggle with the erasure of this with Pete. 90% of posters here just seem to either not remember or not care.

It’s almost like certain accusations get swept under the rug while others get signal boosted & which bands get “cancelled” is completely aribitrary.

We’ve known for over 20 years that Tim Armstrong groomed Brody Dalle— but Rancid and Op Ivy are still revered while bands with similar controversies are persona non grata.
