Let's get these people moving faster!

At what point do players question what possible role they'll have at the club? With so many redundant parts, they're going to have no leverage with their own players or the buying clubs they'll need to rely on to offload players.

Maybe it’s the English accent or slang. It can be a bit wonky

I feel happy for United fans regarding this Ratcliffe news. Long deserved. It would be a proper local boy in the photograph moment, too, considering Ratcliffe's roots.

Curious why you feel they're being poorly run? I've thought some of the hiring and recruitment has been decent, even if they haven't achieved the consistent performance Ineos would have hoped for - but I'll admit I haven't paid attention enough to know how supporters feel about their direction.

Tbh just from reading what some of their fans say. There has seemed to be a lot of chopping and changing in the running of the club too, they seem a bit trigger happy. Maybe just football owenership teething issues though.

Don't get me wrong, he should be banned and all that. But assault feels a bit heavy for this?

This feels like the culmination of decades of "oh he doesn't have a racist bone in his body" defences

Nah, fuck him. Try booting someone in the back in a town centre and see what you get charged with.

Not a conscious racist. He's far too stupid to understand why what he's saying is racist, obviously. :-|

Levy has failed to properly back Redknapp, Poch, and now Conte. It's a joke that as far back as Redknapp, managers have been demanding a change in both transfer strategy and wage structure.

Comparing Spurs to Chelsea is such a weak argument. They've been stealing transfers since Eden Hazard. Even though he went to United, Bruno was all but signed for Spurs but again Levy and ENIC didn't want to put up enough cash.

Contes biggest issue tactically has been the 2 man midfield but that wouldn't be an issue if we had a competitive backline outside of Cuti. When Doherty, Ben Davies, or Lenglet is your 2nd best defender... Go figure.

Also, say what you want about Richarlisons on field antics but Everton fans loved him (so I thought and I love his shit housing as well) and he openly called out Bolsonaro on his shit (unlike any other Brazilian international, might be missing 1 or 2 players). Guy has lived an incredibly tough life and goes out of his way to call out terrible politics.

  24. I get the club is the root of the problems, but we finished top 4 and then spent 100m. Conte himself said he was happy with the business done in the summer. I don’t think it’s fair to say we didn’t back him. We did spend money, it just wasn’t spent wisely. And I don’t think we know enough to say it’s purely the clubs fault that it wasn’t spent wisely. Because like I said, Conte himself said he was happy. And despite the obvious need for a CB, he consistently says he’s pleased with our CB options now. I don’t get it.

  25. The club’s track record is clearly a problem though. And these Porro negotiations are a perfect example. If he’s the main target, just bite your tongue and pay the small difference in your evaluation v theirs, and just get it done. Be decisive. There are countless other examples of us not being decisive and just paying the fee. We’re always too concerned about getting the better side of the deal rather then just getting the better player.
