I'm not a particularly big avant garde/experimental film guy, but even I think Wavelength is fucking brilliant.

That's two big film losses

 

Part of what makes The Exorcist such a creepy movie was the cinematography, it helped establish a mood and a sense of unease.

 

I only saw it once when I was like 13 and I didn’t care for it, but it had been sold to me as the scariest movie of all time and I couldn’t conceptualize how it maybe was at the time but wouldn’t feel that way watching it now

 

It was rereleased in 2003 and would play on pay per view (we had a hotbox) and I remember being so fucking scared if I flicked by and it was on.
