One trend I notice about a lot of these big festivals this year, of all genres. Very top heavy this year.

Saw someone reference “rumors” of a FOB/The Academy Is tour. Might be nothing tho.

I think it was related to TAI posting on one of their socials flips from a previous tour with FOB....as you said could be nothing....but could be everything if it was a TTYG 20th anniversary show!

Yeah when the Block Party lineup dropped, my hype was mostly for the first 3-4 lines of bands. The rest of the lineup are acts I’ve never heard of, or bands I’m not really interested in seeing. That being said, I still think it’s well-worth the price and considering making the 10 hour drive for it!

  6. A lot of the "never heard of bands" are probably local bands from here.

I'm coming out from Florida haha. Love the top 4 lines. Don't know the rest. But I'm a big amusement park guy. So now I'll finally have a reason to go to lagoon

There are a lot of great acts in the bottom half of that Block Party lineup

Random question and I’m a noob here, but is Summer Slaughter just a dead tour now?

I know they said their final show will be an LA-area show (that’s yet to be announced), but I might make the trek to SD for this, just in case I can’t do the LA show

Columbus date is basically Camp Anarchy if you go to the website it lists Circle Jerks, Pennywise, Bouncing Souls, Face to Face, Lagwagon, Riverboat Gamblers and "many more."

And NOFX will be performing Punk In Drublic, Self Entitled, So Long and Thanks for The Shoes, White Trash and The Decline in addition to an entire set

Hasn’t been back since the pandemic so I would assume until someone hears otherwise.

I love my hometown but two nights in Columbus is pretty random. Maybe I'll head home for one of these.

It's basically the same exact thing as the Camp Anarchy festival they did there in the past

I really hope Toronto get a date on that final NOFX tour

That festival tour and Mayhem Fest were both set to return in 2020 but then COVID happened and I think plans fell through. So I would say those tours are dead until/unless we get an announcement saying otherwise.

I think Fat Mike mentioned they’ll be doing shows in Canada

Interesting, unless this is a typo, NOFX’s website says their final show will be in LA in October 2024. So it looks like they’re stretching this thing for two years

    good to know, thanks!

I read an interview where Fat Mike was saying it’s gonna be a long winded, two year world tour, kind of like blink are doing

Interesting! At first he made it sound like this year would be their final year. I’ll be at that LA show next year for sure then. I bet the lineup will be stacked

And yeah, it’s coming back to me. When NOFX played Montreal last year, he replied to a fan saying something “don’t worry, we’ll be back one more time” or something like that. So I imagine there’ll be a few Canadian shows

"The forty cities around the world tour begins on April 22nd in Austin, TX, and concludes in October 2024 in Los Angeles, CA. NOFX will perform forty songs a night, including full albums and rarities, plus they will never repeat a setlist to ensure that each show is unique. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to pre-purchase a digital download of the show they attend. (Available at ticket purchase).

Fat Mike adds, “This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath…These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts…With all our joy…And then we are done. We are done done.”
