This is one of the first shows in a while I binged in one season. I was a dishwasher for three years in a restaurant about ten years ago, so I related to a lot. The ending reminded me of ”there’s always money in the banana stand.

 

Carmy doesn't fuck, we all know that.

I'm actually rewatching the show again and I just noticed in the first episode everyone calls him "Bear" but always "carmy" after that

 

Yeah that should never happen. They have a mentor/mentee type relationship that is honestly refreshing to see, and it would feel kind of problematic if it crossed that line.

Personally I ship Sydney and Marcus.

 

Bring Molly Ringwald back as a regular in season 2 to be Carmy's love interest.

 

Gold Derby currently has JAW as a lock to win the GG for Actor in a comedy series on tuesday.

Abbott Elementary is still the overwhelming favorite to win comedy series, but The Bear is most predictor's #2 pick.

 

So happy for JAW's success, I think he could win an oscar some day.

 

The Iron Claw is going to be so good

 

One of my most hyped. Hope it gets a 2023 release.

Still think the casting of JAW and Efron would have been better if it was flipped with JAW playing Kevin and Efron playing Kerry, but I will reserve my full judgement for the trailer.
