Coutinho is a sham of a player. Quite clearly just coasting through his career now, collecting his wage.

Dembele scored a goal after being abysmal for 20 minutes. Typical. (Pedri and Gavi did all the work, though.)

Pedri was great in the build up!

To be fair, I think I could run through this Atleti midfield! It’s truly shocking how they’ve been this season. Makes me wonder if Simeone’s lost it a bit.

Marcos Llorente kicked Raphinha in the head and VAR did nothing and Raphinha ended up in the book. Classic.

  7. now a double red incident lol

  8. I don’t know why I’m so surprised to see majority of our fans on Twitter happy about this news.

    What a save by Araujo*

Particularly because they won’t buy you or fund you outright. It’s literally just an investment.

  11. That’s what makes it confusing for me. There have been a lot of credible talks recently that ENIC could sell in the near future. This isn’t a sale, but I wonder if creating this relationship either 1) lays the foundation of a future Saudi purchase, or 2) hurts the chances of another buyer coming in because they don’t want to be in business with these Saudi investors.

When I read such comments I am really losing faith in humanity. It's already hard enough to support professional football teams nowadays but it feels like it's getting to the point where most fans just want their teams to succeed no matter how. I have a feeling that in a few years I am completely done with this shit. At least there's always amateur football to rely on.

Ya if Levy allows Saudi investment, it is really going to sour my opinion of him and ENIC (not that Joe Lewis is any type of Saint...) and will definitely make me question my devotion to supporting Spurs.

    Interesting appointment.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

I'm confused. That Twitter link is for Qatari investment? Has Saudi investment been mentioned elsewhere? Would seem strange that they'd be looking at a minority stake in Spurs when they own Newcastle outright. Think that would also cause headaches with conflict of interest anyway, no?

I think it was just a mix up, the link is about Qatari investment. Qatar is wanting to set up something similar to the City Football Group with a bunch of investments in teams around the world. Think they've also just invested in a Portuguese team as well. The Spurs investment would be part of that.

Crucially, as they own PSG, they won’t want controlling stakes in clubs likely to get to the CL. Probably why they want minority investments in lots of different clubs instead.

  19. Yeah, just a mix up by me. My bad!

  20. Apparently Chelsea are in for Porro now. They don’t even need him lol

  21. Just come to MLS

He’s already bad where he’s at, he’s going to continue being bad and not caring if he came to MLS too

  24. Can’t imagine Brighton selling him this window but I’m definitely a fan of his.

Will Spurs pay the £70+ that Brighton will ask for though?
