No joke, I've listened through probably five or six times and don't even know 90% of the lyrics yet. Baffles me how anyone can rank it above Lights and Sounds which has been out for a decade.

 

lol the people on the Russian VK site seem to think the album is "too monotonous" hahaha

 

Thank you for an amazing album and an amazing career. You rule. Your band rules. I'm going to miss you guys very much.

It just dawned on me that YC have released four albums worth of new material and two acoustic albums since 2011. Meanwhile, we're still waiting on that Daisy follow up from Brand New

 

I was always curious what a Lift A Sail acoustic album would sound like. I wanted that to happen even though I knew it wasn't likely. They spoiled us over these past five years for sure.

 

Anyone else noticing this isn't streamable on Apple Music?

 

I havent listened yet but it's downloaded and ready to go on my phone. Rest in peace and the hurt is gone are working fine for me.

You were the welcomed addition to the band that to me truly completed Yellowcard. Thank you for all your creative licks, Surefire solos ( You may have my favorite batch of solos ever) , and positive energy that helped keep the band alive for all this time. You and Ryan K's guitar playing definitely challenged myself to play guitar more creatively and emotively. This last album was a beautiful send off to a group of individuals that I can call more than just music and a discography that will more than stand the test of time.

Ryan Key once asked, "Where is your inspiration?". It's right here in Yellowcard. A band who will burn bright and live on in my heart and veins forever. I am more than forever grateful for that gift. Good luck to all of your future endeavors!

 

Yeah those two songs have been working for awhile. For me, the rest of the album isn't playable or downloadable unless I buy it from iTunes. Anyone able to stream it with just an Apple Music subscription?

 

Man, I can't get over how huge of a song What Appears iis. Right from the get go it lets its presence known and caddies that throughoutthe song. Such a great chord progression, too.

They're just mad they didn't get to leak the album like a month in advance.

 

OK, going in for my first listen right now. Please let no one disturb me and let there be no earthquake, tornado, zombie apocalypse, etc. for the next 50 minutes.

 

Second listen through and I'm in love with the heavy guitars. Such attitude in the tone. Love love love.

Empty Street still gets me like it did pre reunion. Love this song.

 

It's crazy to think that "Empty Street" was made long before the last FOUR albums, but this album was the only suitable choice for it to be on.

 

What's crazy too is how it's been sitting there for years and it fits perfectly in the context of the record

 

I can't stop listening to What Appears.

I really, REALLY hope they play this one life because that imagery is amazing.
