Only half way through and I love it so much already. Was not expecting that opener! Megachurch lived up to the expectations the twitter clip had set.

This album is so fucking good my god what a gift.

wonder about the lack of release strat tho. Did they just decide fuck it?

This is one of the greatest evolutions of a band’s sound I’ve heard in ages. How on earth do they make a song like Machines Kept You Alive and it just makes sense for them?

 

I genuinely don’t think I’ll hear a better song than Blood in the Milk all year.

 

Woods II and Blood in the Milk are so dang gooood ugh.

 

Dunno if it’s cause it’s New year here and I’m drunk but I just cried hard at the closing track on here. This is such a beautiful record.

Alright, to be honest, I'm not totally blown away after one listen, BUT it reminds me of how I felt when I first heard "Oh Common Life." I didn't fully get it at first, but then when it clicked, it hit me like a brick wall. I hear a lot of ambition and a lot of depth here, and I feel like I just need time with it to really understand it.

 

I am blown away after one listen.
