I don’t think I’ve ever seen it without the h

I really want James Marsden to be cast in one of these. He can ride the balance of drama and comedy perfectly

  2. Tom Hollander would be great too

I've never seen whacky without the H but I am happy to drop that sucker.

I will probably watch both of these again soon (though I don't know where to watch Knives out at this point?), before final judgement.

Along the whodunit lines, did anyone see 'See how they run?'. I thought that was a pretty good and fun satire of the genre.

TIL there's an entire group of people that have never seen wacky spelled without an H. How many of you are there? Dozens?

I mean, I'm sure I knew this before this reference, but you know the Hanna-Barbera cartoon is called Wacky Races, right?

Or the old PC game, Wacky Wheels?

I understand neither of these references.

I always spell it “wacky.” But I get it. It’s like the people that spell “whoa” as “woah.”

I'd blame it on youth, but I'm not sure a six-year difference is that big a gap.

Wacky Wheels was a formative experience for me in my middle school years, but I recognize it might be more of a cult classic. Someone installed it on the science class computer and we'd all crowd around it. Good times.

As for Wacky Races, I'm guessing you didn't watch many old cartoons growing up?

Please tell me someone from my generation knows what I'm talking about, because I am losing it here.

Wacky Races is something I've never watched, but have definitely heard of and I'm familiar with the images of the characters.

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

A quick google says that whacky is the original spelling, but more people use wacky today. It’s the whole “English drops unnecessary letters over time” thing.

Whoa is the original spelling, but woah is used more in memes, per a second google.

i mean i always knew you spelled whack like that so yeah whacky makes tons of sense

I assume you mean "whack" the verb, as in "to hit something", and not "wack" the slang term, as in "something messed up".

Seeing as we're doing fantasy casting for the third one:

Robert Downey Jr, Patrick Stewart, Oscar Isaac, Karen Gillan, Mark Hamill and Sigourney Weaver; a murder takes place on the set of a science-fiction film, the rest writes itself.

Which one would be the villain? I'd pick Stewart or Hamill myself.

I don't know how the Glass Onion thread got to Wacky Races but it fills my heart with joy. Dastardly and Muttley for the win!
