fully expected a penalty to be given today but was certain it would have been Upamecano committing the foul.

Scaloni has made some extremely great tactical decisions to start this off.

On course for £400 if this result holds. Don't be a spoil sport, Mbappe.

He’s messed up exactly one foul for each team and otherwise has been calling it 100% even. Tacky and close, but even.

    hmmm

France have been horrific so far. Staggeringly bad. The only interesting potential aspect of the game right now is that they'll surely improve at some point.

Starting Di Maria has been a masterstroke. Really didn't expect him to have this level of impact.

France have been shambolic though. Look like they're in shock.

Di Maria hitting the ball into the ground and then having it bounce over Lloris is wild on that replay.

I wonder if the sickness going through some of the France squad in the last week has anything to do with their shoddy performance tonight so far

The passing sequence leading to that goal takes you from six to midnight on quite a few replays

  22. France look poor but the passing from Argentina has been top class. They’re absolutely on it today.

Their midfield has been shit in big portions of this tourney and you are really seeing it on display today. Not sure if that is illness related or not.

I don’t even know who you sub to change this for France. Fofanna for Dembele to shore up the midfield?

Omg that double sub from Deschamps lol
