I love this more with each listen

 

finally found a lull in my schedule (currently studying for comps) to spin this and WOW

 

Took a stab at cutting the tracklist in half and reordering. Cut some tracks I like but I feel good about the arc.

 

Snagged presale tickets for Philly

 

Album just gets better with every listen. Obsessed with Ghost In The Machine and F2F

 

I want those artists on my album too

I didn't realize just how massive she has gotten, she sold out the arena in DC in like seconds

 

Well deserved. I’ve cooled on the album a bit but still think it’s a worthy successor to Ctrl. Definitely the kind of album where I can cherry-pick whichever song I’m feeling and skip the ones I’m not. Much more accessible than her old stuff while still feeling like artistic growth. I honestly can’t help but wonder what kind of album this would be if we’d have gotten it without any delays a year or two after Ctrl. I have a feeling it would have been much different. But this is a really great collection of what she’s done over the last few years and I only hope TDE now lets her release at the rate she wants to.

 

The range on this record is so great.

 

Somehow keeps growing on me but I still don’t understand the chicken line. What IS the difference between SZA and chickens?!

Also Blind is probably one of the best songs of the year.

 

Thank god all these great songs are out-charting those mediocre collabs.

 

This album just keeps on giving. It’s basically been on repeat since it came out and I think the whole thing is great.

I know this is a wild take but I think the low point for me is Phoebe which confuses me because I am a fan. It just takes me out of the song for some reason.

 

Can we talk about how Kill Bill is the best song ever?
