As much as I want to boomer this whole thing, the campaign has me intrigued so far.

 

they’ll never do an anniversary tour which is hilarious and annoying at the same time. they committed to the bit of being an espn/jock jams band and that was at least successful until mania, it’ll be interesting to see where they go from here

not sure they’ve got another radio hit in them these days

they haven’t had a meaningful radio song since 2015 and even espn/disney hardly touched mania lol

it was a bad, bad record

 

It's a great record that debuted at number 1 and had 4 songs hit the top 10 of rock/alternative songs and a fifth in the top 20.

 

FOB will never do an anniversary tour, but I don't knock people for wanting one. People love those early FOB records. I personally love pretty much everything they've done pre- and post-hiatus, and I'm looking forward to whatever they announce

 

this is a band that would consider those singles a disappointment, they’re a crossover band through and through

of course it debuted at 1, but sales did not stay that way and that’s why it’s their only record not certified lol

 

Have they said publicaly they wouldn't do an anniversary tour? A couple people have said that so I'm just curious about that. I mean if they're ever hard up for cash, they could take advantage of the emo-nostalgia, do a FUCT tour and rake it in the dough - mine included.

 

I know for a fact they are not disappointed.

 

I would buy all the tickets to a FUCT tour.

Mania is pretty easily my least favorite FOB record by a wide margin but I’m excited for whatever is next

Would do things I’m not proud of for a TTYG tour though

 

TTTYG tour is the only Fall Out Boy show I'd want to see live

Missed opportunity if they can't at least perform the album at Riot Fest or something

At least The Get Up Kids will do a 25th anniversary tour for STWHA in 2024
