Multiple people can’t wrap their heads around why a Harry Potter thread shouldn’t exist on a website used by multiple transgender people who have voiced how harmful JK Rowling has been to their sheer existence. Do better. This isn’t hard. Love and compassion over everything and that means listening to marginalized voices that are hurt by the things they see here.

I think there’s a differing of opinions in a lot of artists case on what the “line” is, but in the case of jk Rowling and Harry Potter from what I’ve seen it’s pretty much a solid 90% of the trans community that sees her as extremely harmful and dangerous and the perpetuating of her IP just reinforces her platform so there’s really no grey area here as far I’m concerned
