I listened to half of it on my drive to work and one of the things I noticed was how well the album flowed. Haven't listened enough to give too much of an opinion but I think I'll really like it. More than I anticipated.

My top 5 tracks from the album right now:

    1. Holy Water
    2. Death Wolf
    3. Tidal Wave (I love this one, and it transistions so well from Death Wolf that I can't skip it)
    4. Call Come Running (I can see this one losing steam in the future, but for now it is so damn catchy)
    5. All Excess

I'll Find A Way To Make It What You Want and Homecoming are up there too. I really like I Felt It Too as well, but it hasn't fully clicked for me yet.

Listening to Brooklyn right now for the first time in a long time. TBS B-sides are fucking great.

Their b-sides are always fantastic. How I Met Your Mother was the last great one I can remember and was baffled as to why it didn't make the cut for Happiness Is.

I always listen to the deluxe versions of albums so I forget what songs aren't actually on the album. How I Met Your Mother is one of my favorite songs on that album and I thought it was on the real thing. It's bizarre to me that it isn't.

I definitely like that one. My girlfriend thinks the intro riff sounds like These Days by Foo Fighters.

Can You Feel That is such a jam too. The b-sides are so strong off Happiness Is.

I lurk here a lot but don't post a whole ton, so I don't know how douche-y it is to share something like this. I went to the Rhode Island show last Saturday and felt compelled to write about it. I don't have many friends into the same music as I, so maybe someone here will appreciate it. I am not nearly the talented writer that many are on here, but I wanted to get some of the thoughts I had down on paper.

If this is not appropriate to post, mods please delete!

Good stuff, I was at the same show actually and had the best time at a show that I've had in quite a while!

It was such a fun show. Even though the new songs weren't necessarily crowd favorites, some people are definitely still passionate about the band and you can tell the band is really proud of the new album...as they should be. It was an absolute blast.

Yeah, I really enjoyed them playing the new record but have to admit I zoned out during the last couple songs mostly just due to them being lengthy slower songs. The rest of the album was fantastic to see them play and Adam dancing all over the stage like he did was just proof that he (and I'm sure the rest of the band) is still very passionate about their output. Once they started the second set it was like a completely different atmosphere and the energy was out of this world. I'm so glad I got to see them play a small venue like that.

"You Can't Look Back" is an amazing song. I get goosebumps pretty much every time. I think I could listen to it on repeat for a long, long time

TBS just tweeted that they're working with WB to repress all three records on vinyl released on WB (Louder Now, New Again and Self-Titled).

I like the album art for New Again, will probably get that if it happens. I love the self titled as well, but the cover likes like a PS1 game so will probably skip that one :-|

Will definitely get Louder Now and will think about getting New Again. Wouldn't be caught dead getting Self-Titled.

Self-Titled is my least favorite record by TBS. By far. I actually don't really care for much of it at all other than Best Places, This is All Now and Call me in the Morning. When New Again was released, I didn't care for that either, however I've really come to enjoy it over the past 4 or 5 years.
