i still like to buy new stuff to support studios i believe in even if i wont play them immediately ill know ill want to play them eventually so if i see something for a decent price or something i know ive been wanting even if i wont play it if i have the money to spare ill grab it which is how ive wound up with such an overwhelming library but its a positive thing for me it makes me feel excited i have all these great games to play new and old to keep me entertained for years on end.

 

playing socom on psp with my friends online in middle school is one of my best gaming memories

we also fucked with syphon filter on psp too there was a group of 4-5 of us who consistently played psp games online with each other. oh yeah we used to play the show during class in high school lol.

 

a fair point but theres also a place for gritty realistic takes on war that dont shy from the realities of it while also being a fun game to play. the old medal of honor games come to mind. they certainly didnt make me want to joint the army as a kid. i mean, shooting stuff has been the crux of most games forever so it makes sense why war games are so prevalent. but still its fucked up that CoD is used to recruit people into the army, are the companies who make these games okay with it? do they have partnerships? i dont know much about the subject other than that it happens so i dk if its a coordinated effort between the companies and the military or not.

 

Some gamers have really normalized that shit in their mind, sadly

 

sad I don’t like playing the old school sony games on ps5 since they are all streaming only

I mean obviously the PC port is still dogshit but other than that I literally have nothing bad to say about Callisto Protocol.
