I think the weirdest part is that AJ and Matt both liked the drummer's IG post.

I wonder if AJ or the band will release a statement about what happened anytime here soon

And on the My Kid Brother post someone tagged Dangerous summer in a comment and said. Damn @thedangeroussummer this sucks. And my kid brother liked it.

Happy I got to see them at the Roxy. Crazy how fast everything imploded

Yea, they don’t need to tell us that.

I've seen this notion before. That somehow wondering why your favorite band broke up, or left a tour, is like some incredibly invasive thing to be curious about. No they don't need to tell us, but it's ok to be interested

If you make art in public, and then something causes you to stop making that art in public seemingly on a dime, leaving others out of work, it is more than OK for people to want to know why. Pretty silly to think folks would just say "oh, ok" and move on without knowing.

Wait I’ve been only half paying attention. So on this tour the band lost its tour manager and drummer as well as AJ losing his girlfriend?

They don’t have to say anything but it’s obvious we the people are going to be curious wtf happened haha. They certainly appear to go hard on the road

Absolutely no one said people couldn’t want to know. He wondered if they’d make a statement. I pointed out that they did. He wants more details. I said they don’t need to share more. Which is true.

You’re arguing an argument no one has put forth.

I saw a lot of pics of Jordan from like pacific boozing with AJ all tour long and they obviously made a point to mention my kid brother and not the dangerous summer in their statement.

Yeah, we are not entitled to details more than we've received, as much as we would want them for our own benefit whatever that may be. like, just consider a relationship of your own - are other people entitled to know right away the reason your relationship or partnership, or business, or anything ended?

I can’t express how much I hate the “I wish I knew”/“you’re not entitled to anything” conversation every single time it happens in any thread.

Yellowcard made a bigger statement about Sean O'Donnell leaving than they did about LP. Bands statements about someone leaving when it’s not cordial are always weird.

Christian shared this, bassist from LP, (I'm not implying the black eye has anything to do with it)

He did throw in a "protect the ones you love"
