It’s just so odd to me that the single to promote this album is actually on an album that comes out next year.
Steps in Time should’ve been the lead single.

I think "The Good In Goodbye" and "Embracer" could have worked.

Idk, this isn’t that bad? I kinda dig some of the more electronic stuff, Hooray is a big miss though. Steps In Time has some cool synths.

Respect that they’re not just becoming a legacy act and still out there doing new stuff.

While this isnt exactly what I wanted to hear, I still think it’s good. I’m still excited for the next 2 parts.

Finally had some time to sit down with this…I really enjoy it. Hooligan -> Steps in Time is some top tier SP. I think this strikes a much better balance of synth and guitars compared to the last few releases. Excited for the next two parts.

This album is pretty awful. Disappointed.

Just came back to this after a few weeks, I think this holds up pretty well. Granted, we’re never going to get another Siamese Dream but they’re doing some really interesting/weird stuff here.

Colour of Your Love is better than anything on here, but I think as a whole this album is better than Cyr.

Finally got around to checking this out. It's...totally fine (similar to Cyr) but further proves that Billy has way too many yes-people surrounding him.

Listening to "The Gold Mask" for the first time, when it started I have expected Billy to snarl "All I want For Christmas...Is You!" I swear it has a similar vibe.

After a bunch of listens, i kinda love this record. I’ve had Butterfly Suite stuck in my head for a week.

Also love Embracer, Where Rain Must Fall, Hooligan, and The Gold Mask

The songwriting has an adventurous spirit that reminds me of Adore, I wish it had great production like that record

Oh and I love Hooray too

If I could just forget it

Make 10 solid songs please. We don’t need more!

I mean, if they can make 12-13 solid songs, I'd like that too.

While I'm dreaming, I'd also like Zeitgeist on streaming, please.

    Listening to Act II now.
The first track has a very unnecessary 90 second intro, but then ends up being a pretty decent song. Empires is good but the vocals feel too loud. Neophyte feels like a Cyr b-side.

"avalanche" is dope... whatever abridged playlist i make out of these three chapters, that's the opener

ok "every morning" is pretty awesome ... once again it's an album that's mostly just ok but every three songs or so something inspired happens... idk get a producer billy

For what this band is capable of, the post-reunion material has been nothing short of a huge disappointment.

Imagine having Jimmy Chamberlin as your drummer and still using bland programmed drums for half your record.

Everything Jimmy has said about this project seems to indicate he is in the driver’s seat with a lot of the drum choices.

If you listen to him talk, he’s clearly excited about a lot of sounds other than classic Pumpkins drum vibes
