I wonder how my liking of Voyeurist would have changed if it hadn't been preceded by Digital Ghost. It just got me so excited for the album and seeing it "live" was a really cool way to do it.

 

I’m going to place this as second overall behind LITSOS at the moment. This is such a good album and I think it will end up high in my end of year list.

 

Underoath just added to 10/29 WWWY festival....

I’m expecting a set that’s probably 65% TOCS for WWWY which is fitting but not what I’m interested in seeing when it comes to Underoath anyways.

 

This might be a longshot, but would anyone happen to have a copy of the lost Underoath Documentary that was floating around the interwebs? I had it at one point, but don't anymore.

 

I watched it through this playlist a couple years ago... which was a very messy and unorganized list of cuts from the documentary. A ton of them are replicas of each others so I remember watching one part then hoping the next one would directly follow it. Took some time be able to see the whole thing that way.

You should ask in the band subreddit, there's probably someone in here who still has it.

 

this was one that was floating around like ten years ago. had clips of them arguing about money, warped tour behind the scenes, and the part were aaron had to miss shows due to his hand being infected.

Just need to vent about how much weaker the bass feels when it comes in on the album version of "I'm Pretty Sure..." vs the DG version. I feel disappointed every time. But wow the DG version hits so hard.

Eh $50 isn’t really a free nft, it’s included in that price I think. Glad I grabbed observatory when it dropped!

 

Saw this tour in Nashville and it’s probably still my favorite show I’ve ever been to

 

My favorite Underoath show I've seen was in Nashville at Rocketown in 2016. Reunion tour playing TOCS and DTGL in full. Spencer and the band were complaining about the guards being dicks the whole show, and decided to bust out "Breathing In A New Mentality for the final song instead of "To Whom It May Concern" and the crowd went nuts and a bunch of people stormed the stage. One of the coolest shows I've ever been to.

 

So, apparently for the Emo's Not Dead Cruise, each night Underoath are playing a different album in full and then a bunch of other songs - no one set will have the same song twice. Super jealous of anyone going.

 

I recall a few people wanting a Disambiguation vinyl repress.

Can we just return our Observatory stuff for a better pressing? The physical media/merch for that whole thing was so underwhelming.

At least the brought it for the recorded shows.

bought it because I love that record but hopefully that will be the one and only NFT I ever buy. Felt gross checking out

 

Been waiting over a decade for this to be repressed, but I’m gonna have to give this a hard pass. I cannot justify buying this pressing given its price with the NFT. Really disappointing.
