I have never listened to Action/Adventure before. HEAVY Four Year Strong vibes here. I am enjoying this a ton.

 

The Comfort album is really solid.

If you haven't listened to them before then also check out Meet Me @ The Altar. They're doing a similar easycore-esque take on pop-punk.

 

As I said when you asked last week, getting the album list AND single list as extensive as it is now takes up several hours. Hoping to add genres at some point too, but it's not quick and easy unfortunately.

 

I thought there's new Caravela coming out today (?), I saw they have a release show around this date. So far it's L.S. Dunes and Smidley (Conor from Foxing) for me. I'm at the beginning of the latter, my spotify release radar hadn't shown me neither of these, I'd anticipated the LSD album though, but this one is a surprise - and a really good one so far!

 

How much time would that take every week? I take it not as a discovery article as much as a release radar that I happily skim through and see if I'm missing out on something that I already know, then there are recommendations in the comment section.

Maybe if it's ever agreed upon the main post could include a few recommendations from the authors and those could have their genres or RYIL next to them, given if they're not well-known. But can't see @helloiamzach being obliged to spend even more time on all of this - it's really some great work as it is!

Definitely check out that new record by Smidley (project of Conor of Foxing). They opened up for Bartees Strange this week and I got to see a few new tracks and they were great.
