county clerks have until November 30th to have their canvas board approve the abstract of votes, and then up to 5 days after that for the SoS to certify results and determine if there is a need for a recount :)

Of fucking course it was Boebert’s seat that makes us wait like this. It would be. So on brand. Damn you, Lauren, the worst right up to the very end.

Seems there will be a lot of back and forth today for Frisch/Boebert it seems. Gonna be a nail biter.

The good news is even if Boebert wins, this has shown her seat is vulnerable.

Dems didn't want Fetterman to win lol

They're in the Lis Smith camp of pouring gajillions into centrist tough on crime candidates and bellyflopping immediately

    People like genuine people, wild!

I like Fetterman beyond the Senate as well. A lot of conservativism is built around a macho/tough aesthetic. Outside of having solid politics, Fetterman would juxtapose nicely next to someone as whiny as DeSantis.

Would Fetterman with his further left positions have done as well in a state like Georgia or Arizona? I think it’s a real question to wonder and not an obvious answer.

Its absolutely astounding that the Democratic party does not lean into just pure populist positions, particularly when you look at their polling and what is being passed by citizen referendum in states. I mean I know why is because the political class in that party does not want their golden goose gone I mean look at what the polling for stopping elected officials from trading stocks and then look at who opposes it in the party.

It is funny too watching the candidates who went full mask off populist positions after the party not fully funded them but then they end up winning their elections.

Yeah I wanna see the numbers for Barnes. Cause I really don't know if the answer is

"Barnes brought youth out that would've have showed up if a moderate was on the ballot. Without him it wouldn't have been as close and Evers may have lost"

    or

"Evers winning shows that Johnson was vulnerable and a more moderate candidate could've won"

I know which answer the media is going to run with. I'm just really not sure they are correct.

Both my wife and son tested positive for Influenza A in the past two weeks. My wife was bed-ridden for a good 4 to 5 days and my son was sick from Sunday-Wednesday with really bad stomach pain, high fever, awful headache and coughing and sneezing. My son missed Trick-Or-Treating, which is devastating for an 8-year-old.

Luckily, my daughter and I did not get it. She got the flu shot about 6 weeks ago, I however, never got mine.
