I really just don't even think either of them are real games at this point.

They're like Metroid Prime 4, never gonna happen.

I've been playing DKC2 a lot lately. What a game! The 16 bit SNES era was easily my favorite gaming era of all time. A lot of these games still hold up very well.

Reviews for it have been decent, but not great. I’ve never been a big sonic fan, but I’ll try it out if there’s a demo.

Oh, it definitely could have been better but it's pretty fun. Nowhere near BOTW level of interaction.

my favorite snes game, and one of my favorites ever. all of its platforming ideas are amazing and so well integrated. also the soundtrack is goated.

a burst and I'm awake now Supporter

Too many games out atm, I’m still playing through Mario + Rabbids and have Bayonetta, Diofeld, Harvestella, Tactics Ogre, Ace Angler, Sonic Frontiers, Signalis, Saturnalia on my list that I want to get to (not including stuff on other platforms), and I’m hoping to get inspired to go back to XC3 at some point. Feels like there’s been nothing all year and then bam, fifteen new games in the span of six weeks

I go back and forth as to which I prefer. DKC or DKC2? I remember when the first came out and Nintendo Power sent all their subscribers a VHS showing it off. Man, I had never seen shit this good looking before. The graphics had like a claymation vibe to it at the time and it was captivating. And the soundtrack had banger after banger and catchy tunes all over it. I think DKC2 basically expanded on the good elements of the first one and added more challenge to it. As well hidden tokens and all that. I never got into DKC3 though bc I was balls deep into N64 and I felt like playing it would be a step back or something.
