Ugh, I'd love to go to the first day of that. I might make that a weekender or something if flights aren't awful.

Will Green Day play a different set on tour in 2023? It’s shocking how little they’ve changed their live show in 15yrs.

Unless you’re seeing one of their rare, secret club shows their live show has become so stale.

 

Yeah their setlists the past few years have been really disappointing. When I saw them on the 21st Century Breakdown tour, they played quite a few deep cuts and old songs. It was great. Now that idea doesn’t even seem real. I certainly hope that they’ll mix it up again

 

They're in heritage act mode at this point so, unless they release a new album, it'll be the same.

 

Stacked line-up. Looked more stacked initially when I thought it was both Zebrahead and Authority Zero opening up. But still. Cool stuff.

Hoping for a similar set of openers when they eventually do an east coast run.

 

I fell off after MFZB but, from what I remember, wasn't Zebrahead like HUGE in Japan at the time?

 

Yup! They're no longer as big there anymore, and they haven't properly toured there since 2015 on an arena run, supporting a band called Man With A Mission.

Now they just mainly do festivals in UK & Japan, headline some European club shows every year, and open on a handful of US shows every year or so.
