I’m really enjoying Persona 5 so far. The cut scenes are gorgeous and I’m all about this aesthetic. There’s A LOT of dialogue. Hopefully I’ll get to battle more.

 

Wish I could experience P5 again for the first time

 

i adored BOTW, my first Zelda game, but wasn’t as into odyssey as I’d hoped to be, though I can see why people love it. I’ll probably give LM a go in the next few days

i bought 3 houses and live a live when i got my switch, very hyped to play both

 

There was a single steelbook copy of Persona 5 at the Fred Meyer by me when I stopped for some groceries so I copped.

still need to finish XC3 but I’m excited to get back into it, only made it to the second dungeon on my first attempt

 

got up to S+ rank in Splatoon 3. starting to feel that painful grind as i'm now against players who are better than me (or as i would prefer to see it; i'm just getting put on garbage teams)
with the new way the ranking system is i am now in negative and i'm about to see if this will make it easier or harder to dig myself out of a hole....

Finally getting around to playing Luigi's Mansion 3 this week.

 

Played it earlier this year, it’s a fun game

 

I honestly can't tell by the gameplay I've watched if this is the kind of thing I'm into, but it seems like a lot of people dig it.

 

Is anyone else having trouble connecting online today?

 

I never played the previous Mansion games and it took a bit to get used to the controls but it’s a bit cartoonish and goofy. Maybe I liked it since it’s one of the few Switch games I’ve actually beaten

One day I'll have to crack that open and log my descent into madness.

 

It’s basically an environmental puzzle game wrapped in a silly haunted house that you could totally imagine Pixar crafting. While the combat is the most in depth out of the trilogy it still does get repetitive. Figuring out how to beat the bosses, finding keys, and solving little puzzles to collect gems is the main draw of the game. It oozes Nintendo charm, and it’s almost hard to believe that it wasn’t developed internally by NEPD. Next Level did a phenomenal job creating that Nintendo magic.

 

Posted in the tattoo thread but feel like it would be appreciated here as well. Just got this for my 2 boys (our fav thing to do together is play switch and Kirby is our go to game). I always joke that they are like two little waddle dees so I had to go ahead and get this in their honor! It’s still super dark bc it just got done/ needs to heal.

just got the biggest ego check in Hollow Knight.

picked up the game again for the first time in a long while, went through some of the first pantheon in Godhome, and after getting my feel for the game back i was feeling myself a bit. i went to that boss statue room and fought/beat like 3 versions of False Knight to practice for Failed Champion so i can finally go to the White Palace and get the goddamn true ending

i proceeded to get the everloving shit kicked out of me by Failed Champion at least 10 times in a row.

really brought me down a peg or two
