yeah at least doing 2/3 of these is normal. I was hired for (but eventually turned down) beartooth’s first headliner (300-500 cap) to do merch and TM (also being my first TM gig). I would have died if I did that shit. Bands want to pay low rates and get the most out of it. Especially for inexperienced people because they know they will do it for cheap. It’s not the bands fault. It’s an industry that’s broken like all of capitalism.

sucks Incubus isn't hitting Dallas on those dates since their most recent Dallas show got rained out less than halfway through

 

What's good with that History venue in Toronto?

 

pretty spacious for a mid-sized venue, and easy to find a spot that you'll have a good view anywhere in the place. Sounds great in there too!

 

Just saw Turnstile there a couple weeks ago. Immediately became my favorite venue in the city

He was an investor, he doesn't have any real stake outside of financing though.

 

Excited for this. The last tour sold out in one minute at a 800 cap venue, got moved to a 1500 cap and sold out instantly as well.

 

agreed. saw manchester orchestra there this summer for my first time there. all around great venue; really happy it’s in the city.

 

Taylor swift might be dropping the tour dates during Fallon tonight from what was just shown before they went to commercial break

Nothing came of it other than her saying she’s gonna tour soon and will announce it when the time is right. It was a major tease nothing more

 

“When the time is right” is probably midnight or something

 

It’s past midnight on the east coast

 

My guess is it will be sometime this week

Fun lineup but not enough to travel for, not enough of the WWWY throwback acts and a couple of these acts with high billing have been touring the same album for 2+ years now (Bleachers, J Brek).
