I really doubt that. I think you underestimate how many people at these shows will be there for nostalgia

If we’re mentioning bands who have had a member change and then not play the biggest part of their catalogue, then Saosin is obviously worth a mention. The tour immediately after they reunited had no Cove songs (in one of the shows since, they did Voices but without AG doing vocals). They’ve played some since but yeah. On their current tour, they’ve played zero songs from Cove era.

Obviously Anthony was lead vocals. But yeah, I don’t think anyone is an authority on telling us what they’ll play than the band. It’s cool to state opinion as fact but yeah.

 

It could really go either way, can’t say I would care too much if they play it or not.

 

Yeah the amount of people I knew who did not even realize Tom left (especially that 2016 tour) was staggeringly high.

 

You can still be there for nostalgia and know Bored to Death. Everyone I know going to these shows except myself fits into that category. That song received immense radio play.

 

100% of my friends I’m going with will not know the words to bored to death. I don’t think they should play it but I could see it happening. Whoever said said “if you don’t think they will play don’t know how things work” doesn’t know how things work lol.

 

When I saw blink on the 2019 tour they didn’t play blame it on my youth and it was on radio at the time.

 

Their biggest hit over there (UK) since "Not Now" peaked at #30:

Fuck all those people, that's all I think of saying - facetiosuly of course hahh - cause I was ready to state how buffled I'd be for people to not know a single tune from those 2 (3?) albums and still say they missed the band, not having a spare hour within a span of almost a decade to check some of that out. But I lost my momentum to make a point cause there's been 2 more pages of posts added now ;d

The weird blink fans are absolutely the ones who rank the post hiatus albums higher than the classics, not the ones who don't know what Bored to Death is

 

We should definitely argue more over how many people know what percentage of their discography

 

I promise you that back in 2010 there were ALOT of people in the Taking Back Sunday thread on absolutepunk that were adamant that the band was not going to touch those two albums.
