99% of the people who bought Blink tickets for this tour are going for Dude Ranch, Enema, TYPOAJ, Untitled. I assure you *most* people who attend the show will not be disappointed if they didn't play BTD or any other songs off California/Nine.

Most Blink fans I know in real life weren't even paying attention to the Skiba era and judging on their last Nine tour, they could barely get anyone to come to the show(s).

I assure you the vast, vast, majority of fans going to these shows are looking for the late 90s/early 2000s hits with Tom.

Also, comparing Blink not playing BTD to other bands not playing quite literally their biggest hit is an odd comparison, as there are dozens of Blink songs that most mainstream, casual fans would know more than BTD.

Not sure how it changes anything I said! Bands don't always play their most popular songs, for various reasons.

Only the band know. There are loads of examples of bands not playing successful songs!

  6. I saw them with Skiba at least 4, maybe 5 times, ranging from small club (Metro Chicago) to stadium. Crowd was fuckin' lit each time.

Nine is awesome, but that tour with Lil Wayne was a certified disaster.

I mentioned bands skipping their biggest hits because if bands will skip their biggest hit, then they'll skip anything.

  9. I think they did a poor job of actually promoting the fact that it was an Enema tour, and the pairing with Lil Wayne just didn't help.

I'm just saying, only Blink can tell you what songs they'll skip

    Got people out here saying:
"if you don't think blink-182 is going to play blink-182's #1 alt rock hit song Bored To Death on their world tour... then you don't understand how things work"

Wasn't it not originally intended to be an Enema tour thought? I thought they turned it into an Enema tour after they realized ticket sales were poor. I can't recall the details.

Didn’t help that it became an enema tour after tickets were already on sale

Accordingly to wiki, yeah, they made it an Enema tour due to poor sales. And Wayne seemed to skip nights with especially low attendance. Sounds like ticket prices were high as well, but insanely cheap compared to this new tour.

An Enema tour with Tom would've been sick. Without him? Not compelling enough to get me out of the house.

Not even with the band playing their No. 1 alt-rock song, Bored to Death?

  18. Weird take because half of the album is Mark! And I had literally never seen ~8 of those songs live before

This set is pretty much perfect (I'd swap Josie with Pathetic).

Realistically, I don't see them playing Cynical (it's better with Matt anyway) and What Went Wrong.

And they'll probably play Violence instead of Not Now.

Also, I'm sure they'll have a few more new songs/singles to choose from.

  20. I think that was the tour that Mark also played Wasting Time acoustic, which made my night

i promise, promise, promise you nobody that rushed out and spent hundreds of dollars for a single ticket to this tour is going to care 1 bit about them not playing a song from an album that doesn't feature Tom lol

Do Bored To Death but bring out Brendan from Turnstile

  23. I saw them at Back to the Beach and they played Enema all the way through. The whole time I remember thinking "man, this would have been even more awesome if Tom was playing." I'd seen all but 2 of those songs live before, so seeing Mark sing "Party Song" was fun, but seeing Matt sing "Anthem" was a little bittersweet.

Those fans will be bored to death if they play any Skiba-era songs.
