yeah, that's their gimmick now at shows.

 

There’s a VERY vibrant festival culture that doesn’t match your stereotypes. Granted, it’s more of the camping type fests (Okee, Forest, Roo, Peach, SCamp, etc) but there’s def a very left of center culture within most of these.

 

I don't think the big festivals are out of reach for the average consumer. People complain about high prices for entertainment but everyone will always make a point to save/put aside money for things they REALLY want to do. Also, with the way individual tours are priced now, festivals that give most acts at least an hour are like catching everyone playing a headlining set.

 

There is definitely a section of Coachella attendees who only care about being seen there and seeing only the top headliners and making “content” but most festival attendees are not like that. Honestly a strange generalization. Sure, you have people at some popular festivals there to just party and get fucked up, but as someone who has been to Lolla and other big festivals most of the crowd is actually there to enjoy the music.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see any of the following groups do a spring or summer shed tour next year-Disturbed, A7X, Nickelback, Paramore, Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Godsmack, I Prevail.

 

Paramore is probably big enough to do arenas now

 

I have two tickets I’m trying to get rid of for Turnstile in Chicago on Sunday. I’m looking for $120 which is what I paid but I’d definitely cut a deal for someone on here.
