Another great EP. Really actually enjoy how this worked out, it's been fun having these spread throughout the year, and I've found them much more interesting than In the Drink, which was still good but felt a little.. safer I guess, or like he was trying to find his footing.

 

I'm enjoying these but haven't really loved anything from them really. I liked In the Drink a bit more and that had a few songs I really loved. Still nice to get new music from him though.

 

Just did a run through all the EPs. I liked them but overall I wish they had a higher production value on the master. Ghost World in particular sounds a bit rough around the edges. Definitely glad he's still flexing his songwriting muscles and there are flashes of brilliance here

 

It’s cool he’s doing these and taken a slightly different approach on all 3. I think Anthropologist is my favourite.

This new song really is something, sounds great, I should probably revisit some of the others

 

This new one is one of my favorite solo songs he’s done. It really feels the way I like Justin to feel idk how to explain it better

 

I felt the same way like damn those vocals/melodies are exactly what I want out of JCP

 

So Beautiful and Difficult may be my favourite of his solo songs. I feel like a a weird moment of Coldplay’s Yellow in there early on.

 

I had the exact same thought this morning, there's definitely a resemblance to Yellow at the start of the song

 

This EP is shaping up really nice though. I enjoyed the last two, but neither topped An Anthropologist on Mars or Open Mic at the Lo-Fi. This one could top both if the rest is as good as the songs released so far.

 

Anthropologist was my favourite of the Ep’s released so far too. Maybe the most MCS vibes of them. Permanent Midnight may make a run at that though. Still so glad he’s seeing his plan through putting out different eps.

Ya this is very good, House of Strangers is very possibly my favorite song of any of these EPs

 

Back at 45 is so dang cute. Another great EP.

 

I understand that Back at 45 is cute and all, but..... it sounds so bad haha. Sorry

 

I guess I should probably listen to these EPs, huh

 

Damn. I hope he gets well soon. I listened to all four EPs for the first time the other day and enjoyed all of them, but particularly the last three.
