Whoever wrote it I bow down to them lol. It’s unbelievable. I played it for the first time on the speakers at home and my partner was singing it note for note, word for word by the time the final chorus rolled around. On first listen!

No way they’ll play anything off Nine or California that wasn’t a single, if that.

 

Of the four singles from NINE, I Really Wish I Hated You is the only one that was even middlingly successful, so I can't see them playing anything other than that on tour. It'd be weird if they played some deep cuts like Grenade and First Time, and none of the singles, but it'd be even weirder if they played the singles because they were kinda hated. Tough position to be in.

As much as I want to seem them play stuff from NINE, I don't want Happy Days or Blame It On My Youth to take the spot in the setlist of an oldie.

 

I’m at the point where I don’t think I really even care what these guys play when I see them. There’s always going to be some deep cuts I’d love to hear, but realistically whatever the set list ends up being I’m gonna have a good time

 

I’m obviously late to the party and riding the high of this song, but Pin wasn’t one of FOUR singles? How!? Listened to the album this week and nothing comes close to this in terms of catchiness and radio potential. Weird.

 

They will not play a single song from California or Nine.

Tom will not do it.

 

Sad I never got to hear Cynical, Darkside, or No Heart from this era

 

BTD is a lock but Nine is up for grabs really. They'll play what Tom decides he'd like to try pretty simply

I can't imagine them not playing Bored To Death. It's their most popular post-reunion song, and Mark could do all the vocals easy.

I would be willing to bet they don't play any other song from the Matt era though.

 

I don't think they ever even would've tried No Heart considering Matt said he wrecked his voice for a couple days recording it lol

Maybe could've the last day of a tour though

I'd be way less surprised to see Matt shows again someday than I was about all the recent Tom happenings

My money is on them playing Darkside if they play anything off Nine. IRWIHY seems like it would be eh live like Down is. BIOMY got zero reaction the few times they played it live. And really who wants to hear Happy Days?

 

Considering Mark said they'll celebrate the entire discography and Tom seems gracious towards Matt I can see him doing it

 

Also I finally made my dream blink setlist for this tour, even though I know they'd probably cut 5 songs just to add more room for dick jokes.

I definitely want at least one song from Dude Ranch that isn’t Dammit, and I’d love to see Aliens Exist return.

 

I absolutely think Tom will push to play Aliens Exist again just so he has an excuse to brag about proving the the existence of UFO's every night.

 

I still put my money on them playing Bored to Death, but nothing else from those two albums.
I'd settle for one of those songs in the set list just because I don't think my mind can process the thought of Tom performing one of them lol. But deep down I wouldn't want to sacrifice a classic song for a Skiba era song.

 

I'd trade a Matt song for Tom playing First Date or ATST lol

if you don't think blink-182 is going to play blink-182's #1 alt rock hit song Bored To Death on their world tour... then you don't understand how things work
