Yeah it was one of the FF only exclusives. Limited to 500 with no plans of a repress. You would find someone giving out the OBI strips and each strip had a unique QR code that brought you to a special store to preorder the vinyl.

They said after the Fest the would see how many OBI's went unclaimed and put them on sale to the public.

Having an existential crisis with vinyl this morning. Feel like i’m just dumping way too much money into this when I almost never actually listen to these records, only really use Apple Music.

 

Thanks for posting this. I looked on discogs this morning but the pressings weren't up then. If I have to, I will buy this off discogs. Definitely a NEED album. I already have the other two.

 

I always think if a hobby puts you into dire straits financially or is causing you emotional distress it's best to take a break or get out of it.

I've been buying vinyl passively since 2006...I started buying on the regular in 2013. But it's gotten really bad since 2020 and the Pandemic hit and I joined message boards like (VC, or view Reddit) have I gone down a rabbit hole. Also because I had nothing to do and nowhere to go, other than work and home

Me and my wife have decent paying jobs and I work OT on weekends to offset my hobby.

I always tell my wife not to remind me how much I've spent on records the last few years.

 

I've been in the same boat recently. My vinyl spending really cranked up in 2020. Now that I'm trying to save up to buy a condo soon, I panic just thinking about the thousands of dollars I've spent on vinyl in just the last 3 years alone. Ive been trying to sell some of my collection on ebay these past couple months but there's a lot that no one seems to want. Really made me realize that these "limited" variants truly arent as valuable as we deem them in our heads lol
