So there is such a thing as a lineup that's too good.

I had a lot of fun mapping out my game plan last night. Lucked out in that there weren't any really critical overlaps, so I feel like I'm getting to see the bulk of bands I was hoping for. Looking forward to Sunday!

On a festival like this - the fact that Avril has that late of a slot (over someone like TBS) is criminal in my mind.

Does anyone know if they struck some sort of streaming deal similar to YouTube and Coachella? Or even a paid streaming option? I feel like that could have been a HUGE revenue stream of them. Especially with only five stages? They'd make so much money if they did.

Feels like a bad idea to have any bands playing the same time as MCR

I don't know how the hell it worked out for me this way, but I have surprisingly little conflict and am looking forward to a pretty fun day.

As someone who experienced exactly that when my old band played Warped '05, I can tell you that it does indeed suck.

I'm not going but I would be able to see 90% of what I'd want to see as well. I am going next year so hopefully it works next year.

wow that would be stress-inducing for me - to have to choose between Thursday/Paramore, Bright Eyes/Manchester Orchestra, Dashboard Confessional/Armor For Sleep (with a chip off of Glassjaw's set) and so much more for me, though these ones would be the most crucial I guess, would probably have to pick Thursday, BE and AFS, seeing as I've already seen Paramore twice, seen MO as well, and AFS along with The Starting Line were my favorites on the bill (I thought Cartel was playing too, but I don't see them here)

my thoughts on this is i guess it's great for kids who missed all these bands back in the day but for the people in their late 20s and 30s who all saw these bands there's nothing new here, we all already know what each artist are going to play it’s just gonna be a bunch of greatest hits sets & no deep cuts.. absolutely no intimacy or fun stage banter, just bands rushing their sets.. definitely not worth the money for our generation :sly:

    this is all there is

The Wonder Years getting a 30 minute set that early in the day is straight up offensive.

Let's get these people moving faster!

Isn't that generally the story for all festivals though? Or at least that's what usually puts me off the cost and discomfort of festivals (now in my mid 30s) after years of going to Warped Tour.

I had to look it up, and yes. Nepotism aside, not sure how he got that spot because his music is completely forgettable.

Yeah, I think it’s mostly the whole nepotism thing. That being said, just give the kid his 12 minutes of fame!

I think it is important to have other bands playing as the headliner otherwise everyone flocks to that stage and it gets overcrowded. The other bands playing during MCR have a pretty different sound

If a band plays in a forest at the same time as MCR, but no one is around to hear them, do they make a sound?
