Same! I love how Copeland’s sound has evolved over the last two decades.

It’s a tragedy that more people don’t know about this band. So damn good.

I’m not really a fan of the Revolving Doors version of Pope. I love that song but the original already has a lot of strings so it feels that the Revolving Doors version isn’t justified.

Interestingly, it's the only song on RD that I'm previously familiar with, and I kinda agree that the new version is underwhelming. So I do wonder how I'd be feeling if I knew the other tracks.

Chin Up is my favourite on here atm, had it in my head for a few days.

Can’t really rank RD in there given its nature but it’s incredible

Listened to In Motion today and reminded me yet again how great the early stuff is.

Every year when it gets cold I’m reminded that Copeland is actually the best band

when i got my early download of Ixora back in 2014, we had a snowstorm, so i always associate that album with bad weather. hearing World Turn for the first time with nothing but sheets of white outside was a surreal experience.

Still listening to Revolving Doors at home now, can't wait for autumn and full discography re-runs like every year hahh

Aaron’s gonna be working with Rae Cassidy (the guest on “You Are My Sunshine”)

Saw him post that and he mentioned Rae finally releasing something, but I forgot to check the details - that's some really good news!

I was 15 when this came out and had my mom take me to the store immediately after school to buy it. What a life.

ESR left such a mark on my life. Forever will link that album to the first time I fell in love at 16.

Got into the Copeland game late but really really enjoy this one. its the perfect getting-cold-but-not-yet-winter album for me (in the south where it never gets that cold)

For sure. I barely, if ever, return to Blushing (though it is a good album) and I did NOT like Revolving Doors at all. I also don't listen to Ixora much just because it's a very sad record IMO.

I personally listened to both aforementioned albums just this week alone (meaning ESR and Blushing), both are amazing to me. I also went back and listened to some States after listening to ESR and well, to me it still stands because I loved them and took everything Copeland-related close to my heart, but I wouldn't be sure has it really stood the test of time if I tried to have an objective take on it
