Last night in Columbus was so awesome, I've seriously never seen anything like this show before. Which I have said for the last two Kanye headliners, lol. I was third row, lower. Such a great experience. And I met Kanye after the show. I'm still in shock!

Did you just lurk around or did you buy some VIP package?

No VIP package, the VIP package doesn't include a meet & greet. I just got lucky and ran into him, it was surreal. He's been my favorite artist for the better part of 12 years now, I met him back in 2004 but since then I've grown to be a bigger Stan and I finally got to tell him what his music and what he does means to me. And he was super cool and said "really?" And smiled and thanked us. It was so cool.

For some reason I've just never assumed meeting Kanye would even be a possibility. He's literally the only celebrity for me that seems like more of a mythological being than a human lol

I was trying to upload the picture of what I got signed but I couldn't figure out how to do it on mobile, so here it is, if anyone cares:

Haha, that's exactly what I said.

He was actually a really nice dude. And friendly and took the time.

That's awesome. I'm with @tdlyon though, Kayne is the one celebrity that truly seems larger than life. I wouldn't know how to act if I met him.

Totally. I had told my girlfriend: "if I ever meet him again, I don't know if I'll be able to form any words because uhh, uhh, uhh." But I did. Haha. I know people might think it's a lame thing to get so excited to meet a celebrity musician but for me to be able to tell that dude what his music and everything means to me was huge for me. And to have him respond, after all you see about him spazzing on people and being anti-social made it that much better.

(I've always thought he was misunderstood though and not a complete asshole like the media wants to portray him. Sure he's done and said quite a bit of ridiculous things but… lol)

    Where are your friends tonight?

Man, that's awesome! I can't even imagine what it would be like to talk to him in person. Where did you meet him?

Still an insanely amount of tickets available for Cleveland's show on Saturday.

I did not see that. That's kind of bullshit. My tickets were $90 a piece and I'm in section 210...That's also when the show was being advertised with the stage being all the way to the right (section 210 would have been closer to the stage because it's all the way to the right).

EDIT: Wow, I just checked and now you can get lower level seats for half of what I paid. And my section's tickets are going for just $29 now. With fees, I paid $207 for two tickets. Had I waited, I could have probably just spent $70 total. Kind of fuming right now.

I would be furious. You should call and try to get a refund to make it equal to wait you would have to pay now. I bet if you actually complain about it they'll do something because that's crazy.

Hometown advantage is defintely showing here cus both the Chicago shows are sold out (except for a handful of single seats at the not technically in Chicago show).

I did call and the woman I talked to had NO idea what she was talking about. She's said 'unfortunately we can't do anything about it. We can't transfer them or refund them' and I said 'well don't you think it's bogus that I bought these in June and now someone could buy lower level tickets for half the price or my same section for a third of the price' and then she goes 'well buy the tickets you want and sell yours' and I said 'why would anyone buy my two tickets for $207 when they can just get them online now for $30 each' and I swear to God her answer was "Because it's Kanye. We'll sell out." and I said "Well obviously not, because there's still 40 sections available and you just lowered ticket prices to increase sales." At one point she goes, "where are you seeing all this information" and I said "your website"

She then put me on hold and came back and said 'apparently we're getting a lot of calls about this so we are writing notes and someone will respond within 24-48 hours" and then I said "well the show is in 28 hours so I hope you don't call back in 48 hours" and she said "hopefully it'll be soon." I also mentioned how the show was advertised with stage all the way to the right, which would have brought my section closer to stage, but now that it's in center, I'll be further from stage (which I don't care that much about) and she just said 'weird."

    Ugh.

I don't care or expect to get any type of refund or anything but it'd be nice for them to just swap my tickets to lower level.

Ouch yea that's frustrating. I'm sure they'll take care of it if they're getting a lot of calls. You just probably won't get your money back until after the show. Hopefully they'll let you move up to a better seat or something when you get there too. haha "it's kkanye we'll sell out". What a weak response when the issue is literally that the show isn't selling.

They lowered prices for the Buffalo date too but only like $10-20 per section. The 100 level ended up being more expensive than the floor

All this talk about low prices, meanwhile both Chicago dates have gone up to $100 from around $40 in the past few days. It's my own fault for waiting, but I'm really hoping I can score a somewhat cheap ticket to whichever show I end up going to.

I called customer service and the dude I talked to couldn't have been more pleasant. He cancelled my original order that was for two seats in section 210 for $207 and then I just went ahead and purchased tickets in Section 117 for $120 after fees. Upgraded my tickets and saved about $90.

Couldn't be happier now. Not sure why the woman I talked to yesterday couldn't have been this pleasant.

NICE! So glad to hear this. Even if they did bump you up at the show, I really doubt you would have been refunded.
I couldn't be more excited for this show!

Very happy for you! I read your posts last night and was thinking: "what the hell?" I'm glad to see it all worked out for you. Now I'm still hunting for tickets for tonight. I am pumped to see this again.
