I'm as concerned as anyone about the possibility of Putin using nukes, but of course Musk would have the most ridiculous and counterproductive attempt to "prevent" their use haha

 

Deranged for so many reasons. People are going to freeze/starve to death this winter and these monsters are giving Putin a pseudo justification for his war.

This idea was new to me.

I honestly cannot see either side taking it seriously as an idea right now, but I don't realistically see any path forward for negotiations right now at all anyway. This idea doesn't seem any worse than some of the others floating around, and it's definitely better than Elon Musk's proposal of just straight up giving Russia almost everything it wants right up front.

Are there any examples of this type of thing working? The article keeps citing an instance where it could have possibly happened maybe but didn't.
